Travel Directions

The Frederick Collection Historical Piano Study Center is located in the former Stevens Library, 30 Main Street, Ashburnham, MA, in an historic brick building adjacent to the Ashburnham Town Hall, at the junction of Routes 12 and 101. If you wish to find us using your GPS, simply enter either the street address or the latitude 42.6359 and the longitude -71.9083 and you'll be guided to our door.

Most concerts take place in the Community Church, three blocks to the west of the Study Center, at 84 Main Street, Ashburnham, MA. To be guided to the Community Church, enter either the street address or the latitude 42.6362 and the longitude -71.9129.

If you haven't a GPS, these coordinates, written in the proper form: 42.6359, -71.9083 (for the Study Center) or 42.6362, -71.9129 (for the Community Church) will also work using any online mapping site.

Ashburnham is in northern Worcester County, Massachusetts, on the New Hampshire border, about an hour west of Boston. From the east, west, or south, the easiest access is from Route 2, exit 24B, Route 140 North (Winchendon), to Route 101 North (the second traffic light), to Route 12 in the center of Ashburnham. The Study Center (the former Stevens Library) is just one block to the right, the  Community Church, two blocks to the left.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: As of August 30, 2013, Route 140 has been closed for bridge repair between Betty Spring Road, Westminster, and Route 101, Gardner. The posted detour utilizes Betty Spring Road between the closure points. The road is narrow, not intended to carry the volume of traffic it is getting, so the speed limit has been reduced to 30 mph and delays entering and exiting the detour route are likely. If you use Route 140 between Routes 2 and 101 in order to get to Ashburnham, allow extra time.
